Sapphires and Rubies are from the Corundum family. The inclusion above was seen within a synthetic stone manufactured by the Verneuil Flame Fusion Method. The natural and the synthetic Corundum share the same properties and so it’s wonderful to see an inclusion like this one which clearly reveals its origin!
